What is the team of a NetSuite project like?

Ideally, it should be a team of internal employees who represent the different departments of the company with great communication skills. End users will maintain an open dialogue between the project management team and the rest of the company. They should be able to address any non-technical issues, requests, or concerns that employees may have and convey them to the NetSuite project manager.

Cross-functional team members

The cross-functional team should include technical experts from the company’s finance, manufacturing, and IT departments. They are in charge of communicating the most complex aspects of the software to non-technical end-users. Its responsibilities include:

  • Act as a mentor to others in your functional area
  • Work with users to develop processes that adapt to the new software application
  • Contribute to situation reporting
  • Help design and configure software parameters for each module
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the new enterprise resource planning solution
